Soak up the sun in this week’s color palette with this salt water design!
This week’s color palette brings us to the summery, breezy sea. We’re going back to coral color, teal and deep blue. The look is light on texture, though we’ve utilized a few fun patterns. The design is overall gender-neutral, and could make for a fun room for a child or a beach house. Check it out below!
Brilliant Bedding
Let’s begin by having a look at this orange and blue duvet cover. It’s flashy, it’s loud, and we love it! It expertly ties together the two main tones of the color palette. Contrast the dark blue with this bright, wooden teal bed frame. Voila–the whole palette is present in on just the bed!
Pillows Galore!
Throw some pillows on the bed or any available seating on the room. We’re most interested in this coral and blue coastal pillow, featuring a nice nautical motif. For something simpler, we’re all over this orange throw pillow with an attractive zig zag design.
Blue as the Sea
We’ve shown off a lot of orange. It’s time for some blues! This blue table lamp has a deep color that would fit perfectly beside the bed, and we love its simple look. Another simple piece, this blue and white striped area rug reminds us of sailor uniforms, perfect for a seafaring bedroom.
Nautical Nonsense
Similar in color is this striking octopus wall art; its tangle of tentacles is intricately rendered and full of personality. For something a little less spooky, check out this sailing ship model that will delight children and adults alike!
Kicking Back
We’re kicking back with an accent chair whose color matches the bed frame. Put your feet up on this orange square ottoman; its beaded trim matches the nailhead look of the chair, and its color helps to ground the palette.
