A saccharine and sweet bedroom treat!
What’s on the menu this week? Something sweet, sour and tangy–a lemony citrus dream! This week we’re going for an almost vintage, kind-of-sort-of rustic bedroom inspired by lemon groves, with a lot of yellow and a dash of leafy green. If you’re in need of some inspiration that’s rather tart in flavor, check out our harvest below.
This design loves patterns and textures, and we imagine a mish-mash of them all focused on the bed. First, check out this beautiful and intricate yellow and taupe comforter. Its design is bedazzling, and might be loud enough to keep us awake! Go a little more subtle with a matching tufted bench for the foot of the bed. And for the ultimate in relaxation, we have our eyes set on this cute and simple reading cushion.
No Arms, No Problem
Out seating for this palette is free of arms. For a very comfortable, plush place to sit, we’ve got this armless lemon chair with a cute little cushion. For a little bit of vintage, rustic flavor, we’re including an antique-styled and distressed yellow chair.
Go for the gold with this tangy palette! We love the bright, freshening color of this citrus and olive table lamp–it mixes the two main colors of this palette with panache. We always want to include some nature, and this week re recommend a beautiful daffodil bouquet. And for making your own baroque, personal Versailles, try this set of ten gold picture frames.
Odds and Ends
You can’t put together a room design based on a rustic name like “lemon grove” without a heavy dose of tradition, and we’re all about this beige, traditional dresser. It has a cute look that’s a little bohemian. For something simple, these olive-flavored blackout curtains are fashionable it its solid-color glory.
