A comfy, rustic look for your living room.

This week’s color palette is all about making a great, traditional and lived-in space. The palette we’re working with is rich in reds, oranges and wood–warm colors and textures curated for maximum comfort. We imagine this selection would look great in rural homes, or in the homes of those who yearn for the country. Check it out below!

Classic Textures

This classic striped loveseat cover is an excellent and simple anchor piece for our quaint country living room. Its colors are soft, and its easygoing look is indicative of a comfy, laid-back room. Speaking of comfort, these curtain panels evoking classic picnic-blanket plaid bring us back to simpler and easygoing times. Finally, we love the retro look of this floral pattern chair, featuring beautiful blooms.

Natural Touches

A garland of burlap and orange berries carry in the rustic feel from outside, and would look amazing along a mantle or as a coffee table centerpiece. While this sort of garland evokes autumn, we think its synergy with the color palette earns it a place in the living room during the warmer seasons, too. Add some vibrant red to the room with a pretty red carnation bouquet. Its large, booming look makes this bouquet a bold choice.

Rustic Charm

This deer antler table lamp takes our breaths away! Its shape brings some much-needed flair into the room while maintaining the homey feel. Finally, this oriental area rug has a worn-in, antique-styled look that begs to add some authenticity to the home.

Fine Wood Craftsmanship

This wheeled coffee table is cute, evoking an old wagon or even a wheelbarrow. It’s classic and fresh at the same time–and we want it! Another beautifully-crafted piece is this wine rack/credenza for the edge of the room. Can you imagine a pewter tray with some candles atop this surface to complete the look? Last, this magazine rack end table has an antique style and, thanks to its slight shape, can easily fall under the radar–but in addition to its timeless appearance, we love its little magazine holder found at the bottom.
