Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar

Okay – I have found a slice of heaven because it’s chocolate, and it’s another excuse to eat it, even on salads, fruit, ice cream
All you do is find the very richest most amazing balsmic you can find
Heat up this chocolate below and you will be nuts for this.
I’m going to use it on a salad with goat cheese, dried cranberries, toasted almonds
and this dressing!
Try it with strawberries also in a salad or just a fruit cup.
How about pears and blue cheese on a salad or a la carte?

1 cup premium balsamic vinegar

3/4 cup water
1/2 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup quality Dutch-processed cocoa powder
Pinch of salt
1 tsp Vanilla extract

In saucepan, dissolve sugar and salt in water over low heat, stirring often. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and add cocoa, stirring until you have a syrup.
Add vanilla and set aside to cool.
Once syrup is cooled, mix vinegar and chocolate syrup together.
Put in glass container with a tight top or seal.
