Grilled Artichokes


  1. Artichokes
  2. 1 cup White wine
  3. 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  4. 2 cups Olive oil
  5. 1 cup Balsamic vinegar
  6. 2 Garlic cloves
  7. 1 tablespoon fresh Oregano
  8. 1 teaspoon fresh Thyme
  9. 1 teaspoon Marjoram
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Pepper to taste


  1. Trim the tips of the artichoke leaves.
  2. Fill large pot with water to cover the artichokes.
  3. Add 1 cup of white wine and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
  4. Boil the artichokes in water, wine, lemon juice for about 30 minutes.  This gives it a special flavor.
  5. Marinade: Combine 2 cups olive oil, 1 cup balsamic 2 cloves garlic minced 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, 1 teaspoon marjoram. Add salt and pepper to taste, then microwave.
