A Tea Garden That’s Whimsy And Saves Water

This garden space used to be a boring grassy hill that lacked personality and used a lot more water than it will in the future.  It’s the creation of Cassy and Kirk Aoyagi, of Form LA Inc Landscape Designs, and their renovation at this year’s Pasadena Showcase House.  The garden is now a Tea Garden, with a clever winding path of grey composite granite gravel , native plants, and these windows that were turned into garden art as they are perched in the soil!  Cassy explains how you can create your own sustainable Tea Garden, what to plant and what to dream of.
